United Bank Limited (UBL) is a Pakistani banking company listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. Its registered office is in Islamabad and its head office is on I.I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi. The bank is a subsidiary of Bestway Group, a UK conglomerate that has held control since the Government of Pakistan sold its majority stake in 2002. UBL offers retail, SME, corporate, treasury, Islamic (UBL Ameen) and branchless (Omni) banking in Pakistan and has branches abroad, including in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain. The State Bank of Pakistan approved the amalgamation of Silkbank Limited into UBL in March 2025.
