It is wholly owned by SinoPac Financial Holdings Company Limited, which is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. The bank offers corporate, retail and wealth management banking in Taiwan and has overseas branches, including in Hong Kong, Macao and the United States. It took its current name in November 2006 after merging with the International Bank of Taipei, and in 2026 it agreed to absorb sister bank King's Town Bank.
